Our Process
Little Lasting Impressions has been creating ceramic impressions for families of the Mid-South for over 5 years. Each of our pieces are of the highest quality and are handmade just for you.
The process is completely safe and pain free
It only takes a few minutes to complete the impression process and then the rest is up to us. We take great care in making sure that you and your children have the best experience possible. Some babies may not like having their hand opened or the feel of the cold clay, but it is a very quick and clean process. Older toddlers and children love getting to “make” their hand impressions!
Our materials
At Little Lasting Impressions, we have hand-chosen our materials making sure that they are non-toxic, lead-free, and are of the highest quality. Similar products you may buy are made with less quality materials, and some of them also contain elements that could be harmful to you and your family. It is important to us at Little Lasting Impressions that you not only love the quality of our work and the materials we use but that it is also the safest product we can create for you and your family.
No age limit
We can create impressions for children as young as two days thru any age. We can even come to the hospital to make your child’s first impression, capturing them at their tiniest!
Platters can be created with any number of sibling impressions. Each platter can have the child’s name, year, birth information, etc. engraved on the front depending on the size and shape that you choose. Click on the underlined title above to see more of our options.
Impressions are ready in 4-6 weeks!
Once the impressions are made, they will go through our firing processes and be complete within 4-6 weeks. Keep this in mind if you will need your pieces by a certain date, and let us know if there is an exact date you’ll need them back by when you place the order. When your impressions are ready we will call or email you. You can pick up your impressions in Eads at our home studio, at Spoiled Sweet in Germantown, or they can be mailed to you for an additional charge depending on the size of the piece.
